This arrangement of the popular English folk tune starts simply followed by a second verse with an embellished melody line. Some alternate harmonies give this arrangement a fresh sound, sure to be a crowd-pleaser. While this piece is perfect for Christmas and holiday events, it can also be used throughout the year for other occasions.

This piece is playable on both lever and pedal harps. It is in the key of E minor (contains F sharp). There is one very simple lever change to a C sharp that is clearly marked. Pedal harpists have pedal changes, all on the C pedal moving several times between C natural and C sharp. Pedal markings are clearly notated. (2 pages)

Level: Early Intermediate

  1. Oh wow Jodi that is the most delightful version of one of my favourite pieces, you have outdone yourself with this one. I think it may be a bit of a mission for me to learn but hearing how stunning it sounds it will be well worth it.
You have a wonderful gift, thank you X

  2. Beautiful arrangement. I have several different arrangements of this melody & this will be up there among my favourites. It's not too difficult either, which is a bonus. Thank you Jodi.
